Have you seen the damage that cormorants are doing to fisheries? I was speaking to a representative of the Environment Agency this week and he said that the RSPB claim there are only 30,000 nesting pairs in the United Kingdom at the moment whereas the EA has conducted research that shows it at over 100,000!
Thanks for the heads up I will certainly go and take a look at the talk angling website. It is a shame the effect the birds are having on the fisheries, there must be a way to prevent them humanely from effecting the stock levels?
